Question
What is a “Direct” connection?
Answer
A “Direct” connection is established when one or both connected PCs are not protected by
firewalls or routers. When files do not need to pass through two sets of firewalls, they do not
need to be streamed through the Laplink relay server.
NOTE: Because “Direct” connections bypass the server, Laplink places no limit on the amount
of “Direct” data you can share per month.
