Why do I get a message telling me that the "ShareDirect server is unavailable" when I attempt to register ShareDirect, or when I try to log on after successfully registering?
This message will appear if you have lost your Internet connection. To test whether you are
connected, check that you can open web pages with your Internet browser.
If your browser is functioning, you may want to check the settings for your personal firewall. ShareDirect may be blocked by your personal firewall from communicating with the ShareDirect server. Open your personal firewall settings and add ShareDirect to the list of programs that are allowed to access the Internet.
