Do I need to install drivers before attaching the USB cable?
Answer
No, the Gold USB 1.1 cable has direct-connect drivers built-into FileMover. In fact, installing separate networking drivers for either of these cables may prevent FileMover communication. Just be sure that File Mover is installed on both machines before attaching the USB cable. The ‘ Found New Hardware Wizard’ should complete automatically when you hit ‘ Next’, then ‘ Finish’.
