What if I have a transparent purple cable. Can I use it with LapLink Gold version 3.3 or greater?


Please see our Cable Overview page for supported Windows and Laplink versions. If you've recently upgraded to a version of Laplink Gold that still supports the transparent purple cable, do not install the updated USB Network drivers. Continue to use the drivers that were installed with the transparent purple cable. If you have installed the updated drivers for the gold cable and your transparent purple cable no longer connects, see Technical Document 188, LapLink Fails to Connect using the USB Network Cable. Look at the section titled, Correcting the Installation. When all drivers have been removed, reinstall the drivers for the purple cable that came on your LapLink CD, or download the drivers for the transparent purple cable from our Cable Overview page.
