Laplink Everywhere - FAQ's
I cannot access my e-mail using Laplink Everywhere even though I can access my files.
You must configure the Norton firewall to not filter port 83 which Laplink Everywhere requires for e-mail communications. If you do not have Norton firewall software installed, then please contact Laplink Technical Support for further troubleshooting. To configure Norton, take the following steps:
Once this is done, try accessing your e-mail again.
- Open up Norton Internet Security by double-clicking on its icon in the system tray.
- Click on Options.
- Click on the Firewall tab.
- Under HTTP port list, locate and highlight port 83 and click on the Remove button. This will prevent port 83 from being filtered.
- Click OK.
